i remember seeing seeing city kidd open for Y&T at the crest theater around 1983 that was a kick ass show, good times

I love, love you guys to death! I have been a big fan of yours for many many years. BUT…it seems like this past year when I have been to your concerts/performances I have been a little disappointed. It seems like Jeff is going through something (or definitely on something), cuz as much as I love Jeff as a person and everything he is about, his performances are not what they use to be. Honestly he looks high these past few times I have seen him. You can just tell by his appearance and hes always wiping his nose. And I am not judging him (been there done it myself), I just know there is a better life than getting high.
I will always love Tesla, I’m a loyal fan for life! I just hope that Jeff gets back on the right track. Just watched a video on you tube “Tesla@Jones Beach 8/24/11 2ND street”. Miss seeing that Jeff.
Just a concerned fan, voicing my opinion.

I remember those shows well. I almost crashed my car coming back from the second one. That narrow a$$ road out was icy and I spun on a curve.

Played Georgetown a couple times as City Kidd too…IOOF Hall was Rocking !!! I have a City Kidd 8×10 when Bobby was still the Drummer in the Band. Saw Trouble Shooter in ’82 with JK, BK and Pete P. and I can’t remember who else was in the band. I think Homer was doing the lights…Pete is doing my moms plumbing on her house in G-town. Been to many shows from then until the show last month in Lincoln. Will always be loyal to my Boys !!!

I wish I could remember the dates of when I used to see you guys at the Oasis Ballroom. I had ran in to Frank at Andy Penn’s Drum and Guitar city and I remembered him from that day. I remember being quite impressed with the group. There were a lot of good bands that played the Oasis but I remember that City Kidd stood out. Jeff’s vocals were a big reason but also the whole package was there. Brian & Troy were rock solid. Tommy was great, but I remember being very impressed with Frank. He was still quite young and I remember that he nailed that hard rock style of guitar that I loved. He had chops that I didn’t normally see with guys as young as him.
