FRANK HANNON VISITS WITH DOLORES RHOADS!
March 31, 2009
This is a video of the day I met Randy Rhoads' family in LA.
Randy is one of my biggest guitar influences, and his mom "Dee" had a music school that he grew up in. The school is still there and we visited it.
I had a chance to sit down with Dee and talk about Randy, play her my "Love Song" intro, and hear stories about Randy's life. I feel it is a very unique video and hope you enjoy it. For those of you who don't know who Randy Rhoads is, he was OZZY's first guitarist (long before Zakk Wylde) who wrote "Crazy Train", "I Don't Know", "Mr. Crowley", "Flyin' High Again", "Diary of a Madman", and more killer guitar tunes. He was an inspirational part of my guitar playing and TESLA's music.
Randy was tragically killed 27 years ago this month.
