Troy – just wanted to thank you for giving your drum sticks to our 10-year old son at the Tucson show on Sunday night June 17. My wife, son, and I were seated in the front row and you came over to us after the set and gave our son your drum sticks. What a classy thing to do and what a thrill for our son! This was our son’s first rock concert and needless to say, you made this night one he will never forget. Much thanks and appreciation to you for this memorable moment and great concert experience! My wife and I will be attending the San Antonio show (front row on end) and the Grand Prairie show as well, which we are looking forward to. Thanks again.
Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to have a few words with me during the intermission in Reno. 26 years, your still not too good to mingle…YOU ROCK TROY!
oh! I always wanted to learn to play the drums and the truth that I’m no good at all. I really admire you a lot, you have always been authentic and have done great music and have been honest to your fans so thank you so much.

Gentkemen,
In about 84 my band Onyx was playing in a club in Stockton, I believe, saw a crashed drum cymbal on the wall signed “City Kidd”…some one around told us they were now Tesla…we didnt know who you were yet…in the next few years I sure knew…
So, don’t know how often you read these, but I have some stories for you and some pictures as well, see if I can jog your memory. Take it back to late 80′s early 90′s You guys played a few times at the same places as my dads band “Justin Sayne”, even shared the stage with them playin too. They were out of Idaho. My dad is Jeff (drums). I remember getting to meet you guys at The Big Easy in Boise and hangin out a bit after the show. Like I said you might have to think back a bit. Anyways, I’m in Afghanistan right now, and I happen to meet a girl who worked at The Chip in South Dakota and she showed me all sorts of pics with you guys too, small world eh? Anyway, if any of this sounds familiar, please do write back, it’d be great to hear something.
Thanks again, Jordon
